Spar is inspired by the game Joust released on Atari 2600.

The goal remains the same as on the original game: Attack enemies from above. But... This time there is weapons to help you to exterminate the horde of enemies !

The game uses the phone's gyroscope to match Joust's original gamefeel.

Prize of the jury during the presentations of the end of the semester.

My role in the production

My role was to design all the mounts and the layout of the different levels. Our programmer had implemented a tool to dynamically change the platform blocks (Bouncing, washing, ice) in the level.

I was in charge of scripting different enemies and waves of enemies.

The first 25 waves are predefined before going into an infinite mode. The game also has achievements to unlock additional mounts.
